Parent Views on Curriculum

At Stanbury Village School, we are committed to delivering the best possible education for our pupils. We believe that collaboration with all stakeholders, especially parents, is essential in achieving the best outcomes for our children. We actively seek and value feedback from our parent community, as it plays a crucial role in shaping our curriculum and educational offerings.

In our recent Parent Survey conducted in January 2025, we received a wealth of positive feedback regarding our curriculum. Here are some of the highlights from the comments shared by parents and carers:

  • Unique Curriculum: "It’s a unique school with a different curriculum compared to the other local schools."
  • Breadth of Curriculum: "Breadth of curriculum is fantastic. I value the purchasing of specialist music teaching as well as forest school."
  • Experiential Learning: "The curriculum that is supported by activities that aren’t just academic - the learning through experience and play. It is a unique school that offers something different to elsewhere."
  • Personalised Education: "We love the ethos, the creativeness, how we take full advantage of the outdoors and the school’s location. It has traditional values and because it is a small school, I feel my child gets the most personalised education possible."

We are grateful for the insights shared by our parent community and remain dedicated to continuously improving our curriculum to meet the needs of our pupils.

Together, we strive to create an enriching educational experience that prepares our children for their future.
