We are delighted to offer a weekly Stay and Play Session at Stanbury Village School, designed for children under 5 and their parents or carers. These engaging sessions take place every Friday morning during term time, from 9:15 am to 11:00 am, in our Room in the Roof space. The sessions are led by dedicated volunteers who create a welcoming environment for families in our community.
Our Stay and Play Sessions are filled with fun activities that cater to even the youngest children. Participants can enjoy a variety of play options, including singing, craft activities, storytelling, role play, and water and sand play. These activities not only promote early learning and development but also provide valuable opportunities for children to socialise and make new friends.
At the end of each session, we gather for a snack and singing time, creating a joyful and communal atmosphere. Importantly, our Stay and Play is open to the entire community, so families do not need to have any prior connection to the school to join in the fun.
The cost to attend is just £1.00 per person, with children under 6 months admitted free of charge. We warmly invite all families to come along, connect with others, and enjoy a morning of play and laughter at Stanbury Village School!
