Leave of Absence Requests
At Stanbury Village School, leave of absence during term time will only be granted in exceptional circumstances. Parents must apply in advance using the official leave of absence form, providing detailed reasons for the request.
Each application is considered individually, taking into account the specific facts and the potential impact on the pupil’s education. Please note that holidays during term time are unlikely to be authorised. Headteachers have the discretion to determine the length of any authorised absence. Leave of Absence Requests must be submitted with at least two weeks notice to the absence.
