Climate Change Action Plan

At Stanbury Village School we have developed a Climate Action Plan because we recognise both our responsibility and our opportunity to make a positive difference. As part of the Department for Education’s expectations for sustainability leadership in educational settings – which state that by 2025 every school should have a nominated sustainability lead and a climate action plan in place.

Our rural location gives us a special connection to the natural world and firsthand experience of why protecting our environment matters. Through our Climate Action Plan, we aim to ensure that our school community plays its part in creating a cleaner, greener future – helping to make the world a better place for everyone now and for generations to come.
